The Foundation’s mission is to provide creative and efficient on-ramps for all individuals and organizations who aspire to engage in mental health delivery to those individuals and marketplaces in need. This will be achieved through our strategic plan, leveraging existing relationships such as NTS, technology partners, workforce development organizations, and a cohesive network of committed resources in both funding and human capital development. NTF’s mission-critical goals to be achieved include the following:
- Funding mental healthcare support programs for school grades K-12 at the community level.
- To improve access, expand funding for community mental health programs that focus on underserved communities and develop clinicians that represent the markets in need.
- Improve and expand recruitment, retention, and valuing of clinicians of diverse backgrounds at every level of training and practice in order to create a welcoming mental health space that reflects the cultural and linguistic diversity of communities.
- Create systemic impact to the mental health of children grades K-12 by creating effective workforce development programs.
NTF will deploy a relatively flat structure to allow for scalability, flexibility, and fluidity of information flow to enhance ongoing organizational efficiency and long-term success. Each area will be charged with delivering measurables, deliverables, objectives and results that adhere to addressing the complex nature of the foundation’s charge.
