k-12 Mental Health Initiatives and Programs

Funding

We are developing sustainable funding sources to support the initiatives of the Foundation. Our k-12 funding initiative sponsors a school, several schools, and/or a school district. Sponsorship entails committing to funding up to a three (3) year grant for a participating school or district.

In order for the NTF strategy to work, the approach must successfully achieve the following outcomes:

• Must be a coordinated approach

• Must be intentional in its actions

• Must quickly build credibility, trust and tangible results

• Must be creative and move outside of traditional approaches

• Must demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to evolve

• Must be very systems oriented

National Telehealth Foundation School Sponsorship Program

The Foundation has developed a unique program to leverage industry partners, workforce development of future mental health professionals and community advocates for local markets. NTF manages the flow of funds, granting of distributions, and satisfies reporting requirements. With donor support, NTF’s program will offer each school a package solution to address the immediate need of mental health services.

Donor sponsorships provide the following support:

  • Provide NTF the ability to work with proven 3rd party mental health professionals and organizations, i.e. NTS.
  • Support NTF’s workforce development effort to address the mental health professional shortfall of each targeted school.
  • Provide targeted schools with a minimum of 3 years of mental health services for grades K-12.
  • Demonstrate community impact and tracking of each acquired school.
